About Us
Our #1 breed is the Shih Tzu. We have also bred Afghan Hound and Boston Terrier, but at the moment we only breed Shih Tzus. All our puppies are raised in our home, with us and among the family life. And all of our dogs live with us in our house, sleep on the couch, mess the floors and take us to walks every day.
Together with our team we are currently the most successful Shih Tzu breeder in Finland and have been for many years now. We have also succeeded in shows abroad and in the Finnish Kennel Club's all breed competitions.
Jennika
The daughter
Jennika was born the same year her mother applied for the kennel name Jo-Kin's. She has been living among the Shih Tzus her whole life, so it is no wonder she feels it is the #1 breed for her.
Jennika has been active in the Finnish Shih Tzu Club for over 10 years now. Recently she was also elected as the chairwoman of the club. Before that she has been in the breeding committee and a member of the board, she has also been the head editor of the club's Shih Tzu magazine. She is also active in fund raising for the health research for the Shih Tzus with the current vice president of the club.

Together with her mother she has now bred and raised over 10 years Shih Tzus, and recently also 1 Boston Terrier and 1 Afghan Hound litter. She has also been educating herself in dog breeding, construction, genetics etc. Maybe some day she will also be a judge.
Ida
Jennika and Ida are partners in life and together they attend dog shows and arrange doggy events due to Jennika's postion as the chairwoman of the Finnish Shih Tzu Club. Ida has studied animal caring and welfare, and she has been keen on studying different breeds her whole life. Her mother is also a breeder, but with her own kennel name, though Ida is very present in the breeding plans, showing and grooming with her mother too. Her mother's breed is Tibetan Spaniel, and sometimes we have one or two of them also with us.
Ida is the groomer and handler of the dogs in many occasions and that is why she is in many pictures. Sometimes she travels alone, so you might see only her in the ring with our dogs or the dogs of our team members. She also helps our team with the right coat products, training, handling etc. Thanks to her we have these exciting breed additions (Boston Terrier, Afghan Hound, Tibetan Terrier) to our Shih Tzu flock.
Jennika

I have been active in the Finnish Shih Tzu Club for over 10 years now. I was also elected as the chairwoman of the club few year back, but I later gave that post forward. I have been in a member of the board over 10 years and in various positions in club on that time. For example the head editor of the club's Shih Tzu magazine. Now I am the chairwoman of the breeding committee.

Together with my life partner Ida and my mother we have now bred and raised Shih Tzus more than a decade, and also 1 Boston Terrier and 1 Afghan Hound litter. I am also keen on educating myself in dog breeding, construction, genetics etc. And there is always more to learn.

Johanna
The mother
Johanna is the founder of the kennel, and she was for a long time the "puppy carer" and mommy to all our puppies. Now she has other plans for the future and has no doggies, but her legacy will always be part of our future.
